PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY The center emphasis is based on the concept of "Extension of Family Living."
The learning atmosphere is patterned to support family.
We find that a one to one, child-to-adult relationship seems to be the most positive
for a child. We, thereford, multi-age our classrooms. This way your child will be
assured to have the same teacher throughout most of the day and throughout
his/her care at Peck. By multi-aging the children this promises a warm, personal
relationship between both child/teacher and teacher/parent. Children will have the
opportunity in this setting to develop and see themselves as progressive, successful
learners. Your child will develop a sense of family with their classmates. They
become a "family of learners" who support and care for each other.
